Beatrice and Eugenie torn over King Charles Christmas invite | Royal | News

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are reportedly undecided about whether to attend the Royal Family’s Christmas celebration. King Charles invited the couple but a source said they were undecided after their disgraced father Andrew and Fergie were exiled.

Although both Beatrice and Eugenie remain loyal to the King, it becomes clear that the current situation surrounding their father has become an emotional nightmare for them. The disgraced former Duke of York has been stripped of his last remaining military title and his demotion from Vice-Admiral to Commander has been confirmed following a meeting of the Defense Council. The 65-year-old man previously lost his title as Prince due to his links to pedophile trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

As reported by SunEqually devoted to their parents as they are to the institution, the Princesses now face a logistical and emotional decision ahead of Christmas.

A source told the Mail: “Unless she decides to choose just one side, she’ll be spending a lot of time in the car. Generally, it’s down to the princesses to calm the divisions in the family. They’re struggling with Christmas.”

Senior members of the Royal Family are expected to attend church at St Mary Magdalene on Christmas morning and the King is urging their unity throughout the period. But Andrew is discouraged from joining the family at Sandringham, leaving Beatrice and Eugenie facing a difficult choice.

It is believed that Beatrice felt compelled to be seen with the King and Queen at the Norfolk estate. However, she reportedly also had to spend one last Christmas with Andrew at the Royal Lodge.

Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie, who lives in Portugal with her young family, is said to be less affected by the drama. It is believed that he is considering abstaining completely this Christmas.

Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were served with an eviction notice from the Royal Lodge, causing further distress for the Princesses. They are reportedly preparing to move into a property at King Charles’ private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
