According to a report in Times of India, Raj Nidimoru is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and producer who forms one half of the duo ‘Raj & DK’. Nidimoru is a well-known personality in the entertainment industry, known for creating edgy, character-driven stories and bringing untold stories not only to the big screens but also to OTT platforms.
With movies like ‘Shor in the City’, ‘Cinema Bandi’ and ‘Unpaused’ along with many other movies and TV series like ‘The Family Man’, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, ‘Farzi’, Raj & DK have carved a niche for themselves in the film industry.

Raj Nidimoru was born in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati and studied at SVU Engineering College. He later moved to the United States to complete his education. The duo transitioned from a career in technology to film production, and their first feature film, 99 (2009), marked the beginning of their directorial journey.

Raj Nidhumoru was married to Shhyamali De since 2015 but they parted ways in 2022. Rakeysh is a psychology graduate who has worked as an assistant director with renowned filmmakers like Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj and has also contributed as a screenwriter and consultant to films like Rang De Basanti and Omkara.
