Sudha Singh is an Indian disabled and marathonary with Olympian and Asian Games Gold Medal twice. He represented India internationally for more than 13 years and received several medals. He was born on June 25, 1986 in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, and in 2007, when he won the 3000 -meter disabled event in national games, he came to the center of attention. In the same year, he even broke the national record in the national championship in Jamshedpur.
However, his breakthrough came in the 2010 Asian games in Guangzhou, where he won the gold medal in a disabled shot. The following year he continued to win the second silver medal at the Asian championships and even broke his previous record. He represented India at the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics.
In addition, Sudha Singh was also awarded Padma Shri in 2021, India’s fourth highest civilian award.
