According to Forbes India, Yuvraj Dua is a comedy content creator on Instagram who started his career as a sports journalist. During the pandemic, he revived the dormant meme page he created during his school years and started posting comedy videos. Dua’s biggest project was working as a dialect coach to assist actor Ranveer Singh with the character Rocky Randhawa in the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday heeded social media influencer Yuvraj Dua’s request and shared his Instagram reel, reiterating the importance of healthy living and urging people to reduce sugar intake and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

PM Modi reshared Dua’s video on his Instagram story after the online creator made a humorous appeal to the PM requesting him to speak out against excessive sugar consumption so that his father reduces eating sweets.
In the now viral video, Yuvraj Dua detailed how his father is a huge fan of the Prime Minister. The video quickly went viral for its wit and relatable anecdotes. Even the Prime Minister, the most followed world leader on Instagram, could not resist. He reposted the reel on his own account, calling on Dua’s father to “reduce his sugar intake” and “be healthy, be happy.”
Sharing humorous approaches from daily life, Yuvraj Dua talked about his father’s strong admiration for Narendra Modi. “If my dad is watching TV, his focus won’t be broken by ‘Modi Paglu’ even if a dragon is flying overhead,” the influencer joked.
The Prime Minister took this request into consideration. “As per Yuvraj’s request, I advise his father (and everyone there) to reduce his sugar intake… be healthy, be happy,” he shared on his Instagram story. In a second story, PM Modi said that too much sugar intake leads to multiple diseases and we should not forget obesity. He also encouraged people to practice Yoga.
Yuvraj Dua also reacted to the Prime Minister’s message and expressed how surprised he was that a simple video received so much attention. Reacting to the video going viral and attracting the attention of Prime Minister Modi, Yuvraj Dua said, “Surreal sa hogaya yeh toh. I never would have thought of kahan pohonch gayi video. (This has become surreal. I never thought of the peak the video has reached).”
