Who Will Win and Who Should Win

The Academy Awards are just one week away. The internet went crazy with the recent release of anonymous voters announcing their choices. The really controversial part about this is the identity of the voters and what exactly they prefer regarding the reward. Apart from this, 2025 was also considered by many as a year when cinema would break new ground. The films have already proven themselves at BAFTA and the Golden Globes this year. Whether it’s Paul Thomas Anderson’s polarizing political satire, Ryan Coogler’s Vampire Blues Musical Drama, or Chloe Zhao’s medieval Shakespearean tragedy that shakes audiences to their core. 2025 has truly been a crazy year for cinema.
Warner Bros. It is at the forefront of this race among all film studios; His two big-budget films lead with more than 30 nominations. Neon and A24 follow (18) and (11) respectively, which is a tremendous achievement because both are Independent production companies. Streaming Giant Netflix also received 16 nominations for its Auteur Driven films Frankenstein and Train Dreams.
This year, more than one film has a better chance of winning in some categories, while the winners of others have already been announced. So, let’s examine our Oscar predictions, where we will tell you who will win in all categories and who actually deserves to win; From the battle between One Battle After Another and Sinners to the tight Best Actor race between Timothee Chalamet and Michael B.
