As we mentioned before, we weren’t able to see the full list of attendees, but our photographer Alex Ellinghausen managed to capture some of the guests arriving at The Lodge this afternoon.
Labour’s national secretary Paul Erickson, hailed as an election whisperer after running the 2022 and 2025 campaigns, arrived with his wife Dimity Paul, chief of staff to Communications Minister Anika Wells.

Sydney’s inner west, where Albanese grew up, was well represented at the wedding. Inner West Mayor Darcy Byrne, whose council is among the Prime Minister’s Grayndler constituencies, was also in attendance, as were Sherie Dewstow and Rod Burns, who grew up with the Albaneses in council housing in Sydney.

We also saw former NSW transport minister and Summer Hill state electorate MP Jo Haylen arrive with Albanese’s chief of staff Tim Gartrell.
