Minnesota Wild reporter Jessi Pierce and her three children died in a house fire Saturday.
Fire officials said the incident occurred in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The White Bear Lake Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at a single-family home early Saturday morning.

People around stated that they saw flames coming from the roof. FOX 9. Fire crews also found the family’s dog that died in the fire.
“The Minnesota Wild organization is heartbroken over the tragic loss of Jessi Pierce and her children,” Wild said in a statement. he said. “Jessi was a kind, compassionate person who cared deeply about her family and those around her. During her time covering the Wild and the NHL, she served as a special ambassador for the game of hockey.

Tributes poured in on social media as the NHL world remembered Pierce.
