Girl and two boys are arrested on suspicion of murder after teen is stabbed to death in London: Victim is named

Three young people were arrested on suspicion of murder after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in London.
Jamal Coombes died from his injuries after being stabbed on Glycena Road in Battersea.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics at the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance, the teenager died at the scene.
A girl and a boy, both 15 years old, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday.
A 14-year-old boy was also arrested today on suspicion of murder. All three are being held in custody.
While the police launched an investigation into the murder, police teams continue to work in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, the senior investigating officer who led the investigation, said: ‘Our thoughts remain with Jamal’s loved ones following his tragic death.
‘I understand the impact this incident has had on the local community. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to speak to one of our officers patrolling the area this week.’
Police have launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Glycena Road in Battersea, south-west London, in the early hours of Saturday.
The official said detectives believe the stabbing occurred as a result of an argument and asked for witnesses to come forward.
Police are willing to speak to anyone who was in the Lavender Hill area between 3.30am and 5am, particularly Glycena Road, Acanthus Road or Pountney Road.
He added: ‘Any information, no matter how small it may seem, can be very important. CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage can provide vital evidence.
‘I also urge the public not to assume that information has already been shared; Any details could be of great importance to the investigation.’
