Disney World Indiana Jones boulder hits cast member during stunt show

A giant rock prop veered off course during Disney World’s Indiana Jones stunt show on Tuesday, striking a performer who bravely tried to stop the enraged prop.

There were tense moments at the Indiana Jones Epic Extravaganza held at Hollywood Studios. captured on video It was posted by a viewer and quickly went viral.

In the footage, a giant ball can be seen shooting out from behind the camera during the temple scene of the show. It went down a high rail, hit a side wall, and suddenly bounced off the platform.

As it sped towards the audience, a staff member bravely ran towards the rock and tried to stop the propeller.

The actor was then quickly knocked down by the force as other employees rushed to help him. When he stood up, the back of his shaved head was covered in blood.

The prop bounced towards the stage and away from the audience, where staff were able to rescue it safely.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Disney stated that it would not disclose the member’s current condition to respect his privacy, but that he was recovering.

“We are focused on supporting our actor as he recovers,” Disney said.
