Considering the green light, Europe is preparing to receive great support in long -distance train services with ambitious plans for new routes. From next May, passengers will be able to travel from Prague to Copenhagen via Berlin by train.
The new line will work throughout the year and work in both directions throughout the day. Travel times between Copenhagen and Berlin are expected to take about seven hours and four hours from the German capital to Prague. At the same time, train operators will currently extend the train on a summer season night that connects Hamburg and Copenhagen to Prague.
The new train service will be operated by a train companies, Deutsche Bahn (DB), Danish Railways (DSB) and Czech Railways (čD). Comfortjet trains will fold the route and offer a wide range of opportunities, including a restaurant, Wi-Fi, bicycle storage and area for 555 passengers.
High -speed trains also have wheelchair elevators, children’s cinema and radio transparent windows that improve mobile connection and reception for passengers. The train will stop in big cities such as Dresden, Hamburg and ústí Nad Labem and connect to key economic and cultural centers.
Rota plays a direct train trip between Prague and Copenhagen, which ended in 2014, when the trains stopped running last night.
Before that, Neptun Express once tied two capitals by ferry and rail, and it took roughly 14 hours.
The new service is a pilot project within the scope of its efforts to improve the European Commission’s cross -border railway infrastructure and market integration. The partnership between čD, DB and DSB reflects the increasing demand for longer international railway journeys,
