Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott facing DUI charge after allegedly crashing car with son as passenger

Eminem’s ex-wife Kimberly Scott is reportedly facing charges in Michigan for allegedly crashing her car while her son and others were passengers.

Scott, 51, was charged with two misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage, according to court documents. TMZ.

However, Scott’s attorney, Michael Smith, told the publication that he had not been arrested as of Tuesday and claimed that he did not know there was an active warrant for Scott’s arrest.

However, Smith, who defended his client as a “good person, a beautiful person” and said that the argument was unfortunate, added that he would surrender if an arrest warrant was issued for him.

The publication said sources with direct knowledge indicated that Scott’s alleged accident occurred around 8 pm ET on Monday, February 16.

Scott, who was reportedly sober after years of struggling with addiction, was said to have left his home with his teenage son Parker, who was accompanied by three friends in the car.

The group reportedly went shopping, but their outing was suddenly interrupted when Scott allegedly crashed into a car parked on the street.

Sources said Scott did not stop the vehicle and continued driving, but returned to his home instead of continuing his shopping trip, sources said, according to the publication.

Scott then allegedly crashed his car a second time as he pulled into the driveway, but failed to stop and crashed into the garage door.

A photo obtained by TMZ on Monday shows Scott’s white Range Rover after it crashed into a partially collapsed garage door.

The vehicle’s passenger-side headlights appeared to be broken and the bumper was damaged and partially detached from the vehicle, but it was unclear which of the alleged crashes caused the majority of the damage.

One of Scott’s neighbors, who claimed to have seen the crash, called police, according to the publication.

After they arrived, Scott was reportedly taken to the hospital for unspecified injuries and then released early Tuesday morning.

Scott’s life was once the subject of controversy, especially during her romances with Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers III), whom she married twice.
