Will happen in time, it’s inevitable: Robert Vadra on calls for Priyanka Gandhi as PM

New Delhi Businessman Robert Vadra on Tuesday said that his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has a bright future in politics and there will come a time when people want to see her in the top position.

He was reacting to Congress MP Imran Masood’s reports that Priyanka Gandhi will prove to be a strong prime minister like Indira Gandhi.

Talking about the steps to be taken in the context of the situation in Bangladesh, where Hindu minorities are facing persecution, Masood said that Priyanka Gandhi will be a better prime minister and will behave like Indira Gandhi did in the past.
When asked to comment on Masood’s suggestion, Robert Vadra told PTI Video, “I think Priyanka (Gandhi) has also learned a lot from her grandmother (Indira Gandhi), her father (Rajiv Gandhi), Sonia ji and her brother (Rahul Gandhi). People admire her. People see what she has… When she speaks, she speaks from the heart. She speaks and argues on issues that really need to be heard.”

“I think he has a bright future in politics and he has a bright future in changing what needs to be done on the ground in this country. I think so. This will happen by taking into account not only his opinions, but the consent of everyone. The opinions of the people are there to make the changes they need. And I think this will happen over time, it is inevitable,” he said.

Following the Congress’ successive defeats in the elections, there have been frequent demands from insiders that Priyanka Gandhi be given a bigger role.
BJP spokesperson Shehzaad Poonawalla claimed that Rahul Gandhi was shaken by his party colleagues “rejecting what they were saying”; The latest example of this is Shashi Tharoor, who has “fully spread” the “vote-chori (vote theft) narrative” by appreciating the work done by the NDA in Bihar in the last 20 years.

“Congress MP Imran Masood clearly said that he no longer has faith in Rahul Gandhi and tried to replace him with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Later, there was a confirmation to this from Robert Vadra and he said, ‘Yes, that is true’,” the BJP spokesperson said. he said.
