SEC Announces Schedule for Local Bodies’ Elections in Telangana
Haydarabad: The State Election Commission (SEC) announced the election program for local organs in the state on Monday. Elections will be held in 565 latches in 33 regions in the state.
He said that the elections of the State Election Commissioner I Rani Kumudini, MPTCM and ZPTC, which addressed a press conference here, will be held first and then Gram Panchayat elections. The entire election process will be held in five stages starting from 9 October. The first stage of the elections will be held on 23 October and the second stage on 27 October.
The first stage of the elections for Gram Panchayats was held on 31 October, while the second stage on 4 November and the third stage on 8 November. After the completion of the Gram Panchayat elections, the count would be carried out on the same day. The votes of MPTCs and ZPTCs will be held on 11 November.
