Flying can of worms again in Canberra.

This week in Scam of the Week we look at how the expenses pile up, why Anika Wells is making headlines and the part angry traders never say out loud; everyone is in the hole, Labor, Liberals, Greens, just with different media friends. 

Then we zoom out, because while we’re discussing Canberra ski trips, Trump is handing out “gold cards” and there’s discussion of who really benefits from Australia’s censorship, surveillance and rules being written by the loudest lobbyists. 

And for dessert, a “Tim Tam bailout” in which the government backs the infamous KKR private equity firm, because apparently Wall Street bettors have a safety net too.
