Winter-related death reported in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed one weather-related death due to the winter weather that began affecting East Tennessee on Friday, January 30th.
The death was reported in Greene County. This is the second winter weather-related death confirmed by the East Tennessee Department of Health; All of the deaths occurred in Middle or West Tennessee. All of the previously reported deaths were due to the winter storm that impacted the state last weekend, starting Jan. 23.
