A Wisconsin mother said she was stunned after her young son was given a bracelet calling for the death of President Donald Trump at a local farmers market.
Katie Neubauer said the bracelet was given to her 8-year-old child by volunteers at the Winnebago County Democratic Party booth during a recent visit to the Oshkosh Farmers Market. The bracelet reads: “Isn’t he dead yet?” He said he wrote it.
“I handed it back to him and said, ‘We don’t use hate speech here,'” Neubauer told The Faulkner Focus on Thursday.

“I had to walk away because I was angry.”
Neubauer said he then returned to the booth and noticed other bracelets with anti-Trump messaging on them, including one that read “8647.” The phrase combines “86” and “47,” which are slang for “to get rid of” or “to kill,” and refers to Trump being the 47th president.
The mother said she contacted the store’s manager, who told her she was not the first person to complain.
“There were actually about 10 complaints total that day,” Neubauer said.
The farmer’s market manager confirmed FOX 11 News Green Bay The stand was operated by the Winnebago County Democratic Party, he said. He also said party officials and the market have decided not to return to the remaining markets this season.
The anger comes as authorities warn of an escalation in political violence. Trump urged lawmakers to tone down their rhetoric and warned that violence was increasingly targeting conservatives.
“We’ve watched far-left radicals resort to desperate acts of violence and terrorism because they know their ideas and arguments aren’t convincing anyone,” Trump said during the ceremony where he posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to political activist Charlie Kirk.
