Woman, 95, ‘tied up and threatened by man’ at property | UK | News

Police say a 95-year-old woman was tied up and threatened by a man who offered to clean her windows during an attempted robbery. Greater Manchester Police said officers responded to reports of a woman demanding cash from an address on Belcroft Drive, Little Hulton, at around 11am on Tuesday.

A man is believed to have entered the property after offering to clean the woman’s windows before tying her hands. He then demanded the woman’s money and purse, police said. Before the man could escape, the man broke down when another woman who knew the victim arrived at the house where he was captured.
