Woman allegedly punches pregnant driver, bites officer in road rage attack

A Florida woman has been arrested after she was caught on video allegedly punching a pregnant woman in the face, attacking an elderly woman who tried to help, and biting a police officer while being arrested.
Mandolyn Ann Shaffer-Brockwell, 37, of Orlando, is charged with battery on a person 65 or older, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, burglary of a vehicle by assault/battery and resisting an officer with violence, FOX 35 Orlando reported.
According to the Orlando Police Department, the incident allegedly stemmed from a traffic fight that occurred near the Mall of Millenia on February 23.
The pregnant woman told authorities Shaffer-Brockwell “stopped her vehicle a short distance away” and tried to change lanes to get away from him, honking his horn, according to the report.

In the footage released by the ministry, Shaffer-Brockwell is seen getting out of his vehicle, running towards the pregnant woman’s car, jumping on the hood, then forcing open the driver’s side door and allegedly striking and punching the woman in the face.
The woman told police that she had a child in the car at the time of the incident.
Shaffer-Brockwell allegedly told the pregnant woman, “Honk (expletive) at me again.”

Allegedly, an old woman who witnessed the fight during the incident got out of her car to help.
Shaffer-Brockwell allegedly scratched the elderly woman’s face and told her to “(Expletive) get back in your car” before hitting her in the face.
Police shared a photo of the elderly woman’s face, with visible bruises and scratches under one eye.
One of the victims described Shaffer-Brockwell and his vehicle, and an officer quickly located him.
But when the officer tried to detain him, he refused to comply and violently resisted, according to the department.

Shaffer-Brockwell could be heard on the video repeatedly cursing at the officer before biting his wrist as he tried to avoid being handcuffed.
“Don’t bite me,” the officer said.

“Get off me,” Shaffer-Brockwell shouted.
He was eventually arrested and detained.
