Woman and two men seriously injured after crash involving tractor and two motorbikes

1 woman and 2 men were seriously injured as a result of the collision between a tractor and two motorcycles.

Emergency services rushed to the scene via the A92 near the village of Catterline, just south of Aberdeen, at 3.25pm ​​on Saturday.

They found a 61-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, the driver of a BMW K1200 and his pillion passenger, and a 44-year-old man riding a Yamaha FZ6.

All three were hospitalized. The tractor driver escaped uninjured.

The road was closed to traffic for 7 hours while the police investigated the accident at the scene.

Police Scotland has appealed for any witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dashcam footage.

Sergeant Lesley Morrison said: ‘Our investigations are continuing to establish exactly what happened and I am appealing for the public’s help.

‘Were you traveling on the A92 at the time of the incident and did you see what happened? Did you see any of the vehicles before the accident and did you have any useful information? If you are, please come forward.

The crash happened on the A92 near Catterline (pictured). The road was closed for seven hours while police continued to investigate the crash and appealed for witnesses to provide dashcam footage.

‘I would also ask any drivers with dashcams to review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.’
