Woman appears in court charged with murdering sister in north London flat | UK news

A woman took part in court accused of killing her 69 -year -old sister who was stabbed in her home in North London.
Nancy Pexton, 69, was accused of killing Jennifer Abbott, also known as Sarah Steinberg on Friday at the Highbury Corner Magistrate Criminal Court last Tuesday.
It seems that Pexton and Abbott were sisters and Pexton is nine months younger than Abbott.
Abbott was found dead by his nephew and neighbors who broke his door to his apartment in Camden last Friday after his family did not hear from him for a few days.
Postmortem examination gave the cause of death as a sharp force trauma.
Neighbors said that Abbott regularly saw that the pet was walking in the region, one of them described him as “enthusiastic” and “alive”.
The metropolitan police said that the officers had previously investigated whether the officers were linked to a lost diamond -coated role from Abbott’s death.
At a short hearing, Pexton, who had no fixed address, talked only to verify his name and date of birth.
Regional Deputy Judge Lee Marklew detained his 69 -year -old child to appear in Old Bailey on June 24th.
He said to him: “You will meet your Varist and some advice will be given in the coming weeks. This is an administrative hearing. You will be detained until then.”
