Woman charged with attempted murder in shooting at home of Rihanna | Rihanna

A 35-year-old Florida woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting into Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home on Sunday.
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz was charged Tuesday with one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault on a person with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts of shooting into a dwelling; all felonies, court records to show. Authorities said no one was injured during the attack.
Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell told reporters that 10 people were present at the superstar’s home at the time of the attack, but did not confirm whether they were; his partner A$AP Rocky; or their three children were there.
McDonnell said investigators believe Ortiz traveled from Florida to Los Angeles, but the timing of his trip is unclear. His last address was Orlando, and he has been a licensed speech pathologist for more than a decade, according to the Associated Press.
Authorities have not said whether Ortiz has any connection to Rihanna or her family, and the motive for the attack is unclear.
Representatives for Rihanna did not immediately respond to AP requests for comment.
It was unclear whether Ortiz had an attorney. The L.A. public defender’s office did not immediately respond to inquiries.
Video released by KABC-TV shows five bullet holes in the front door of the home. The news station obtained police dispatch audio saying 10 shots were fired.
In 2018, a man was accused of breaking into another home owned by Rihanna in the Hollywood Hills and spending 12 hours there. The man pleaded no contest to felony counts of harassment and vandalism.
