Woman dies after car crashes into parked semi-trailer in Melbourne’s west

A woman has died after crashing her car into a parked semi-trailer in Melbourne’s west.

While the driver died at the scene, the slightly injured female passenger was treated.

Police said the crash happened on Banfield Court in Truganina, an industrial area surrounded by warehouses and large parked vehicles.

It is believed that the accident occurred around 11:00 on New Year’s Eve.
