Woman dies after lifeboat rescues her from sea off Skegness

A woman in her 60s died after having difficulty at the sea at Skegness Beach.
RNLI said that a lifeguard boat was confused as part of a large research. A coastal security helicopter and air ambulance were also deployed.
The woman was rescued from water at 17:30.
The Lincolnshire police said he was brought back to the shore, but unfortunately he died.
The spokesman for the force added: “His relative is aware. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
A coastal security helicopter may be seen before walking around the area before going down on the beach with Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire air ambulance.
