Jim Cramer says shares of this once-dormant tech giant will ‘run for a long time’

The S&P 500 rose as oil prices fell and investors reacted to solid earnings reports. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 3%. Jim Cramer said Tuesday’s stock market had a “nice rebound” after Monday’s setback. Cramer identified two prevailing themes: (1) the usual oil decline and bond yields down, stocks up; and (2) “software or hardware – yesterday it was software time, today it is hardware time.” 2. Amazon shares soared to an all-time high on Tuesday, a day after the launch of Amazon Supply Chain Services for businesses. After meeting with Amazon CEO Andy Jassy on “Mad Money.” Jim had one big takeaway: The payoff on this year’s expected $200 billion in spending isn’t far off. Jim said Amazon’s “naysayers” fail to understand how the company will benefit from their investments. “Amazon understands more than anyone else,” Jim argued. “After being motionless for a long time, [the stock’s] Previously on CNBC, Jim said the big spending guide was “the crime they’re playing.” Jim pointed out that Jassy talked about making money in 2027-2028. “That’s not that far off.” When asked if Amazon was his favorite Mag 7 stock over Alphabet, Jim smiled and said Amazon was “very good.” He didn’t choose. 3. Eaton fell over 3% after delivering strong earnings but missed guidance. “We’re buying because the market is wrong,” Jim said.
