Women Given Rapido E-Bikes for Self-Employment in Anantapur City

Anantapur: In the first example of the country in the country, 250 Rapido E-Bicycle was delivered to members of women’s self-aid groups (SHGs) as a self-employed vehicle.
Anantapur Collector B. Vinod Kumar and City’s Uban Mla D DagguPati Prasad delivered more than 20 e-bikes to women on Saturday in a police crossing area. Bicycles were provided through MEPMA’s Anantapur Urban Unit (the task of eliminating poverty in municipal regions).
Speaking on this occasion, the collector pointed out that the EP government decided to start women’s rider services in cities. As part of this, an agreement was signed with Rapido. “Banks, only 1,000 EMI per month, women’s SHG members will have credit. Vehicles will not cost fuel because they are electric two -wheeled vehicles,” he said.
MLA Prasad said that Prime Minister N. Chandrabababu Naidu has carried out many programs to provide self -employed for women. As part of this, Rapido e-bikes are delivered to women for the first time in the country.
MLA said that women can easily earn between 15,000 RS 18,000 RS per month.
