Women’s dating app Tea reports 72,000 images stolen in security breach

(Reuters) -tea, an application that allows women to comment on anonymously with men and review their dates, has undergone a data violation and enabled computer pirates to access 72,000 user images.
A tea spokesman confirmed that they have identified “unauthorized access to our systems” and revealed approximately 72,000 images, including 59,000 images from 13,000 self -identities and photo identities and photos, comments and direct messages sent for account verification purposes.
“We are busy with third -party cyber security experts and we work throughout the day to secure our systems.” He said.
