The carrier has implemented a 10 percent reduction in its winter flight schedule, in a strategic move made in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, aimed at stabilizing the network after the recent disruptions.
“IndiGo has been steadily increasing capacity in line with government guidelines after fully stabilizing its operations since December 9, 2025. We operate 2,100-2,200 flights continuously and carry over 1 million customers every 3 days,” IndiGo said in a statement. he said.
While weather forecasts predict that the coming winter season will become increasingly harsh, the airline emphasized its firm determination to maintain service reliability and take every step necessary to minimize possible travel delays for its passengers.
Simultaneously, Consumer Affairs Minister Nidhi Khare said on Wednesday that the ministry had officially registered around 100 formal complaints from travellers. These complaints are specifically linked to ticket cancellations involving IndiGo flights, highlighting the lasting impact of the carrier’s recent scheduling difficulties on the flying public.
