World Bank and ADB delegates attend CRDA’s orientation programme in Amaravati

The World Bank (WB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited various construction sites in Aaravati and participated in an orientation program organized by other issues related to the environment and social security, health and safety of the workers and the construction of the capital.
CRDA Additional Commissioner G. Sureasai Praveen Chand announced the steps taken for environmental protection in Aaravati during the construction phase of the workers, the facilities provided in the workplaces, the residents of Aaravati, skill development programs and welfare programs applied for employment production.
‘No child labor’
He also stressed that the construction of Aaravati’s construction was strictly complied with the norms of gender equality and lack child labor.
Mr. Praveen Chand shed light on the complaint correction mechanism (GRM), which discussed the problems expressed by farmers and residents of the capital.
WB Senior Social Development Experts Venkata Rao and Ranjan Verma and ADB team discussed the evaluation process of the environment and social systems in Aaravati and the re -settlement plan. They gave an overview of the authority of WB and ADB in the Amaravati project and the importance of environmental and social welfare activities.
Senior Environmental Expert Joseph and WB and ADB Environmental Assurance Consultant Damanjeet Singh Minhas, social security, environmental protection measures and security protocols to be implemented by contractors, announced in case of unwanted events.
