Yaccarino resigns after two years as CEO of X

X CEO Linda Yaccarino said that Elon Musk resigned after running the social media platform for two years.
On Wednesday, Yaccarino issued a positive message about the term of office in the company, known as Twitter, and said, “The best has not yet come” because it did not enter a new section with Musk’s Chatbot Grook producer Musk’s artificial intelligence company Xai.
Musk hired Yaccarino, a senior advertising manager in May 2023 after he acquired his Twitter at US $ 44 billion (A67 billion) at the end of 2022.
At that time, Yaccarino’s role would mainly focus on carrying out the company’s business operations and leave it to focus on product design and new technology.
While accepting the job, Yaccarino took the difficulty of returning big brands to advertisements on the social media platform after the turmoil that lasted for months following Musk’s inheritance.
Some companies have withdrew advertising expenditures, which are the main source of income of the platform, on concerns that Musk’s thinning of content restrictions enables the development of hateful and toxic speech.
“When Elon Musk and I mentioned the X vision for the first time, I knew it would have a lifetime opportunity to realize the extraordinary mission of this company, Y said Yaccarino wrote.
“I am grateful to him for entrusting the responsibility of protecting free speech, turning the company and transforming X into everything.”
