Yamuna Water Level Continues to Rise, Eevacuation Underway

New Delhi: Official, Yamuna River level on Wednesday at 8 am on the Old Railway Bridge (ORB) 206.83 meters recorded, he said.

The Yamuna River in Delhi passed the evacuation sign on Tuesday, as the water level was recorded at 206.03 meters and has increased since then.
As the water level increased, people living in low areas were evacuated by regional officials and the sphere was closed for traffic.
“The reason for the rising water level is often caused by high -volume waters released from Wazirabad and Hathnikund. Estimation shows that there is a more increase in the water level,” he said.
The river received 1.62 Lakh Cusec and Wazirabad Barrage at Hathnikund dam and 1,38 Lakh Cusec at 8 o’clock.
