What was a lawsuit for Youtube?

After January 6, the major platforms have removed Trump that the voter fraud will encourage more violence with allegations that he had lost his loss to Joe Biden in 2020.

Trump’s privileges were wounded in clashes with pro -Trump rebels carrying more than 140 police officers, flag poles, baseball sticks, hockey sticks and other temporary weapons. They wanted to prevent the Congress from approved Biden’s win.

Free speech violation?

Legal experts saw that Trump’s claims against technology giants were at best shaky, and the first change of the US Constitution was not a special actor but withdrawing from restricting the speech.

However, technology and media companies have settled in Trump since they returned to the office because they waited to move from Washington on major issues affecting their business.

The big questions faced by Youtube and Google/Alfabe are an experiment in Virginia, in which a federal court weighed the request of the search engine giant’s advertising technology business to disintegrate.

In February, Elon Musk’s X settled in a Trump case against the company and former General Manager Jack Dorsey for about $ 10 million.

In January, only days after the opening of President Trump, Meta agreed to pay $ 25 million to solve a complaint opened by Trump, and $ 22 million of this amount was determined to finance the future presidential library.

In cases where legal experts thought it was questionable, media companies have reached settlements with Trump. For example, Paramount Global agreed to pay $ 16 million to solve a case against Trump because of an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, whom Trump claimed to have been unjustly organized. This settlement came because Paramount was looking for regulatory approval for the purchase of Skydance.

In July, the Federal Communication Commission approved the seizure of $ 8 billion paramount.

Google refused to comment on the reasons behind the agreement. However, Trump’s Youtube account has been restored since 2023. The $ 22 million settlement has a market value of $ 3 trillion, which has a market value of $ 3 trillion since Trump returns to the White House.

Youtube is not a state player, and the use of editorial discretionary authority on its private service does not imply the first rights of plaintiffs.

The settlement statement arrived only a week before a court hearing in Oakland in Oakland in California, the US regional judge Yvonne Gonzalez-Rogers on October 6.
