Yvette Cooper brutally torn apart for ‘refusing to appear’ on GB News | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Camilla Tominey has directed her anger at Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, claiming the Labor Secretary refused to join GB News to answer questions about her party. Hosts Mark White and Anne Diamond spoke to Tominey on Sunday morning’s show and asked him about Cooper’s absence. White told Tominey, who had asked for the Secretary of Labor to appear on his show: “Once again the Secretary of State is avoiding your show; he’s frit, isn’t he?” Tominey replied: “Keir Starmer has never been on the show, Rachel Reeves has never been on the show. I have great admiration for those who have. If you can’t be subject to criticism from me on behalf of the public, then literally what’s the point of you?”

“We don’t know what they were afraid of beyond the idea that they were a little afraid of being Tominied on Sunday morning.”

Viewers were quick to react on X (formerly Twitter) about the lack of Labor ministers on UK News.

One person wrote: “Yvette Cooper, Foreign Secretary and certified Ninja Level Question Dodging, boldly REJECTED a GB News interview with Camilla Tominey. Is she facing Putin? Sure. Is she facing global crises? No problem. She’s facing a perfectly polite journalist asking perfectly reasonable questions on live TV? She disappears in a cloud of smoke like a disoriented cartoon character. Boldest move she’s made all week: faster than a vegan from a steakhouse escape.”

Another added: “They’re cowards and it shows Camilla won’t ask soft questions and let him get away with it. She’ll ask questions Cooper can’t answer because he’s completely clueless.”

A third echoed: “Yes, if you’re in politics you can’t avoid a little heat – you can also bring a barbecue if you’re not ready to grill! But dodging questions will only make things worse, right?”

But defending Cooper, another said: “Why would such a tiny GREAT BRITISH COW be on a TV STATION? Look at the poor quality of the presenters!”

Another claimed: “GB News is watched by just 7% of UK adults. That’s why politicians aren’t interested in it.”

GB News is broadcast daily on Freeview, Sky and YouTube.
