Zelenskyy Says ‘Concessions’ Will Not Make Russia End War

Ukrainian: On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy surrendered to the requests of President Vladimir Putin before the talks between Russian leader and US President Donald Trump on Friday.
The US-Russian Summit, which has been planned so far without Zelenskyy, will be the first among the US and Russian president sitting since 2021.
Kyiv is concerned that Trump and Putin can make an agreement that requires Ukraine to leave the region to Russia.
Zelenskyy, in a statement published on social media, “Russia refuses to stop the murders and therefore should not receive any reward or benefit. And this is not just a moral position – is not a rational position.”
“The privileges don’t convince a killer,” he added.
EU Foreign Ministers will talk to discuss the summit on Friday on Monday to discuss, fearing that any agreement without Ukraine may force unacceptable compromises.
Russia, which occupied Ukraine at the beginning of 2022, made costly but stable progress on the spread façade line and claimed that he seized the village of Fedorivka in the Eastern Donetsk region.
In the meantime, both sides accelerated air strikes, claiming that Ukraine had hit a facility producing missile components in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. Local officials said that a person was killed in the attack and two people were injured.
