₹3.78 cr. budget for Nehru Trophy Boat Race

A general body meeting of the Nehru Cup Boat Racing Association (NTBRS) approved the 3,78 Crore budget for the pressure of the Nehru Cup Boat Race (NTBR) 71.

The meeting was held on Friday and chaired by NTBRS President Alex Varighese, the expected income contains 1 Crore grant from Cro 1 Crore and ticket sales from the state government. Another 1.15 crore was expected through sponsorships and 50 Lakh grants were expected from the union government.

The ticket price for the race remains unchanged. Luxury box (Platinum Corner, Nehru Pavilion) was fixed with 10,000 la per seat. A family ticket (four people-platinum corners) will cost 25,000.

Tickets for other categories, 3,000 (tourist Gold, Nehru Pavilion), ₹ 2,500 (Tourist Silver, Nehru Pavilion), ₹ 1,500 (Victory Strip), ₹ 500 (Victory Strip Wooden Gallery), ₹ 300 (All Landshand Wood Gallery), OC 200 (all landscape wooden 100).

Meanwhile, the technical committee appointed by NTBRS suggested that the timing of the boats in the NTBR finals be recorded up to three decimal steps after minutes and seconds.

If more than one boat ends at the same time, the committee suggested that the winner be decided through a draw. He also suggested that the cup be shared, each team keeps for six months. A draw will determine which team holds the trophy for the first six months.
