Euston fire LIVE: Huge blaze cancels Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool trains | UK | News

London Fire Brigade’s full statement reads: “Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters are battling the blaze on Regent’s Park Road, Chalk Farm.

“A single-story commercial building is on fire. Most of the neighboring properties are also on fire.

“Adelaide Road is closed between Winchester Road and Haverstock Hill. Please avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.

“Due to the fire’s proximity to the railway, some lines between London Euston and Watford Junction may experience delays or cancellations. Visit National Rail for more information.

“One of the brigade’s 32-meter spiral staircases is used at the scene to fight the fire from above.

“Controlling Officers received the first of many calls at 09:31 and activated crews from Kentish Town, Holloway and West Hampstead fire stations to the scene.

“The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
