1,500 Tonnes of Onions Auctioned in Kurnool: JC

Kakinada: East Godavari Regional Collector Keerthi Chekuri announced that the Swash Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan program will be started in the district on September 17, focusing on the health of women, children and adolescent girls.
The program aims to determine the private health needs of women, children and young people and to provide them comprehensive medical facilities. Special initiatives within the scope of the program include NCD screening, TB detection, anemia and sickle cell screening, pregnancy and postnatal health checks, vaccination, menstrual awareness, nutrition presentation, blood donation camps and distribution of PMJAY Ayushman cards.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the national level opening in Indore, while Prime Minister N. Chandrabababu Naidu will join Visakhapatnam on the same day. Activities at the regional level will also see the participation of D. Purandeswari deputy D. Purandeswari in Dowleswaram.
