3 Delhi Schools Receive Hoax Bomb Threats; Over 70 Institutions Targeted So Far This Year

New Delhi: Three schools in the Dwarka region of Delhi received bomb threats on Monday, and the authorities confirmed that the threats were a scam.

According to the police, various units, including cyber cells and special personnel, analyze E -mail headers and other digital footprints to determine the origin of messages. Inspectors suspect the participation of jokes, but they did not ignore the possibility of attempts to disrupt their normality.
“We coordinate with service providers to monitor the IP location, and we will examine whether the same source is behind previous threats this year.” He said.
According to the police data, 74 schools of 74 educational institutions between January and August received similar threats in 70 schools and four colleges-Delhi-NCR.
On January 8 and 9, more than 10 schools were affected, including DPS Vasant Vihar, Saket, Saket, Salwan State School and Modern School in Vasant Vihar.
Shortly after a month, on February 5, the four Noida school threatened via e-mail. On February 7, the International School of AhlCon in the three institutions-May Vihar Faz-1, Shiv Nadar School in Noida and St. Delhi. Stephen College was targeted.
On July 14, the Navy Children’s School in three schools-Chanakyapuri received the CRPF school in DWARKA sector 16 and the CRPF School-E-Posta in Prashant Vihar. One day later, on July 15, three more institutions were targeted – St. Dwarka. Thomas School, St. A school in Stephen’s College and Rohini.
On July 16, five schools received a threat of bombs via e-mail. These are St. St. Thomas School, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, Anne International School in Hair Khas, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, and Sardar Patel Vidiaya in Lodhi Estate.
On July 18, more than 45 schools were targeted for Delhi, including Rohini, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, South Delhi and Central Delhi. In total, six schools in DWarka reportedly threatened in July.
In addition, Three Delhi University College – IP College, Hindu College and Shri Ram Trade College (SRCC) – received a bomb threat.
On July 17, Delhi police, a 12 -year -old child on July 15 in Dwarka St. Stephen’s College and St. He caught the threat of bombs to the Thomas School for sending e-mails.
According to the authorities, while all of these events are declared a deception after comprehensive inspections, each case is handled with full seriousness.

Police said that investigations into previous events are still continuing and whether the repeated threats were part of a coordinated model.

These threats cause significant deductions in the academic program, and the fear and anxiety of students, families and educators.
