3 Idiots actor Achyut Potdar dies at 91

Achyut Potdar has been involved in both Bollywood and Marathi projects for years. Some of the films that the audience love their performances include Lago Raho Munna Bhai, Vaastav: Real, Ishq, Rangeela, Parineeta, Damini, Droh Kaal, Yeshwant and others.

Remembering the role of Aamir Khan’s Hit Film 3 Idiots, Actor Achyut Potdar is no longer. He was 91 years old. In his last days, he was admitted to the Jupiter Hospital in Thana because of his health problems. Doctors have not yet explained the exact cause of their death.

Potdar has been involved in both Bollywood and Marathi projects for years. Some of the films that the audience love their performances include Lago Raho Munna Bhai, Vaastav: Real, Ishq, Rangeela, Parineeta, Damini, Droh Kaal, Yeshwant and others. He also took part in TV shows such as Suraag: The Clue and The Death: Mrutyu Dand.

The most remembered role came in Rajkumar Hirani’s Blockbuster 3 Idiots, where he played the “Machine Class Professor”. Even today, the dialogue of “Kya Baat Hai” from the film continues to be shared on social media through jokes and MEMLER.

Interestingly, Achyut Potdar did not start acting until the age of 44. He had a very different life before he entered the movies. Firstly, Madhya Pradesh worked as a university professor at Rewa.

Later, he joined the Indian army for a short time. After that, he worked in Indian Oil for 25 years and retired in 1992 at the age of 58. He just began to behave full -time after retirement and continued to be a known face in the industry.
