3 militants arrested in Manipur

Security forces arrested three militants belonging to two banned groups in Manipur, police said on Saturday (February 14, 2026).

It was stated that all of the arrests were made on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The police statement stated that two active cadres of the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (Apunba) were captured in Imphal West and Imphal East districts, while a member of PREPAK (Kangleipak People’s Revolutionary Party) was abducted from his home in Moirang Khunou in Bishnupur district.

Security personnel also seized weapons and ammunition from Khulsaibung hill area in Tengnoupal district during the operation on Friday, February 13, 2026.
In the statement, it was stated that the seized weapons included a single-barreled gun, two pistols and eight IEDs.
