After a busy day working as members of the royal family, Prince William and Princess Kate sit down and watch some TV, just like the rest of us. According to Woman and Home, the Prince has often talked about his love for cinema and sets in the past; this passion is evident as president of the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA).
The Prince and Princess shared what they like to watch on TV; Harry revealed that William and Kate are big fans of Suits, which stars their sister-in-law Meghan Markle. Prince William also revealed that he and his wife have a great love for Killing Eve, Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones.
These programs are popular in many homes across the UK, with Brits across the country also tuning in to watch the hit series. But these aren’t the only things the royal family enjoys.
According to Hello! Magazine, Prince William met the stars of Clarkson’s Farm earlier this year, and while there he revealed that even Prince George was a fan of the show.
The Amazon Prime docuseries follows Jeremy Clarkson and the stories that take place on his farm in the Cotswolds.
Speaking to ITV News, Prince William shared that he asked his son what he should say if he met Kaleb Cooper, one of the stars of the show, and George replied, “Tell Kaleb to watch his language.”
There’s actually a show about the royal family that has impressed Brits ever since it aired – so what do the royal family think about it?
The Crown is a Netflix series that first premiered in 2016. Vanessa Kirby, who played Princess Margaret in the first and second seasons, will star in the series as the late Queen Elizabeth II. He explained that Elizabeth herself had watched it. Hello! Magazine.
“A friend of mine was at a party and didn’t know anyone, so she approached this group talking about The Crown. One girl said, ‘Well, my grandma is watching this and she really likes it.’ It slowly dawned on her that the girl was Eugenie and her grandma was the Queen,” she said in a 2018 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie also said they enjoyed the show’s music, storytelling and cinematography.
