3 U.S. service members killed in Operation Epic Fury, CENTCOM says

Three US soldiers were killed and five were seriously injured as part of Operation Epic Fury, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on Sunday morning.
CENTCOM also announced that several people suffered minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and were in the process of returning to duty.
“The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after their next of kin have been notified,” CENTCOM said. he said.
