4 injured in Dubai hotel fire after reported Iranian strike

It was reported that a loud explosion was heard in the fire that broke out in the hotel in the Palm Jumeirah area of Dubai, during the Iranian regime’s retaliatory attacks on the Middle East.
Dubai Media Office, a government agency, said in a statement on Saturday that the site had been secured and the fire was under control.
“The safety and well-being of residents and visitors remains a top priority. Authorities continue to take all necessary precautions to protect the public. The public is asked to remain calm, rely only on verified information from official sources, and refrain from posting videos or images on social media,” the media office said. wrote to x.
Dubai authorities confirmed “an incident” occurred at a building in the Palm Jumeirah area, and emergency responders did not elaborate on what caused the incident.

Iran’s retaliation against US and Israeli attacks focused on Israel and US assets in the Middle East. Explosions were reportedly heard in many countries hosting US forces, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

Many Gulf countries condemned Iran’s retaliatory attacks on their territory and affirmed their solidarity with their neighbors in the region.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it reserved the “full right” to defend itself after what it described as Iranian aggression targeting Qatari territory, while the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of “serious consequences resulting from the continued violation of the sovereignty of states and the principles of international law.”

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense said the country “was exposed to an apparent attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles”, adding that its air defense systems “successfully intercepted a number of missiles”. He stated that the UAE “reserves the full right to respond.”
