48 kg custard apple seeds dispersed in Telangana’s Sircilla forest to address human-monkey conflict

Prakash, a natural enthusiast of Sircla Town, together with a few other green volunteers, threw 48 kg of custard apple (Sithapal) in the forest area near the Shivangalapalle Village in the concert latch in Rajanna Sircs region on Sunday (13 July 2025).
He took the initiative to increase the forest cover and to appeal to the growing human-maymun conflicts. Mr. Prakash received praise for green initiatives such as distributing seed balls using drones in Manala, Garjanapally, Akkapalli and other forest areas in the past.

“Green initiatives under the leadership of the community will help to increase the forest cover and maintain biological diversity,” he said, and suggested that solar -powered CCTV cameras be installed on forest roads to accelerate Vigil and protect wildlife.
