The case was registered following a complaint by Sangareddy, a resident of RC Puram, who alleged that the accused collected huge amounts from multiple people on different occasions after assuring returns and refunds.

According to the victim’s complaint, the victims transferred money through cash and credit card transactions over several years, believing that the defendant’s assurances were genuine. Individual losses ranged between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, with many transactions dating back to 2018.
