53 Excise Officers To Be Elevated

Hyderabad: The departmental promotion committee (DPC) has recommended promotion of 53 tax officers, including two joint commissioners, 12 deputy commissioners, 14 deputy commissioners and 23 excise inspectors.

The committee, headed by Vikas Raj, along with convener secretary Mahesh Dutt, chief secretary Raghunandan Rao and excise commissioner C. Harikiran, submitted the proposal to the state government.

In a press release on Tuesday, Harikiran said the government had assured that the accession orders would be issued within a few days. The promoted officers met with Harikiran and expressed their gratitude to the government. Additional commissioner Syed Yasin Kureshi, joint commissioner Suresh Rathore, deputy commissioner P. Dasharath and other officials were present.
