President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday to apply 50% tariff to Brazil under threat, and set a legal justification that Brazil’s policies and former President Jair Bolsonaro’s criminal prosecution constitutes an economic emergency. Trump, President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva threatened the July 9 tariffs.
