6.1-magnitude earthquake hits northwest Venezuela

The US Geology Survey said that an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude shook Northwest Venezuela on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The agency said that the central base, which has a depth of 10 km, is in the Mene Grande community to 370 miles (600 km) of the capital Karakas.
The Venezuela government did not immediately publish information in the earthquake.
