60 organic farmers take part in bank’s outreach programme in Puducherry

The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) was coordinated with the welfare of agriculture and the welfare of farmers, Pudducherry Regional Office and held an awareness meeting for agricultural plans for organic farmers at the Bank’s Farmer Training Center in Thatchavady.

During the program, IOB Chief Director Ravi Shankar Sahian Babu, led by Sahoo, explained to the participants, including the objectives of the meeting, facilitating an interface and increasing the awareness of various programs implemented especially for organic farmers.

Senior IOB official S. Mangalswari explained in detail the features of the IOB Map Cranti program, which supports farmers who adopt the increasing productivity in organic agriculture and organic planting applications, and announced the support system provided to farmers with P. Senthilvel and feeds, organic strikers.

Organic farming assistant manager and Nodal Officer Kumaravel also spoke.

Approximately 60 organic farmers from various special clusters of Pudducherry region participated.
