74 per cent of Electricity in India is Generated from Coal: Kishan Reddy

Haydarabad: The Indian Geology Research (GSI) southern region of Swachhotsav organized Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign on Saturday on Saturday.

Birlik Kömür and Maden G. Kishan Reddy, who participated as a guest as a guest and opened four innovative waste to the reserve models in the GSI office.

Speaking on this occasion, the union minister praised the Swachhate initiatives of the Southern region of GSI and expressed happiness on the organization of Swachhotsav as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign under the Swachh Bharat mission.

Kishan Redy, especially playing an important role in the development of the country, stressed the vital role of GSI in mineral discoveries. He said that 74 percent of electricity in India was produced through coal and could not be electricity without coal. Without electricity, there is no industry, development and progress.

The Minister of the Union also underlined the important role in the determination of GSI’s coal reserves and praised the 175 -year special service in the identification of the critical minerals necessary for the growth of the country. On this occasion, the Union Minister GHMC and GSI distributed sanitation kits to sanitation employees.

Previously, the program began with the opening of the Swachhotsav rally by Basab Mukhopadhyay, ADG and Hod on the Mansorabad Road to the Main Gate of the GSI Office, to the GSI Office Main Gate. A mass cleaning driver was also made with the active participation of the GSI’s DDGs, managers, officers and personnel together with the local residents and the general people.

Approximately 400 participants, including GSI officials, local company representatives and public members, participated in the program.
