77-year-old Giants ball boy sparks one of the great MLB comebacks of all time with incredible diving play

The 77-year-old ball boy for the San Francisco Giants pitched one of his best games of the season on Wednesday afternoon, leading to one of the great comebacks of the MLB season.
Trailing 9-1 in the eighth inning, the Giants staged one of the most stunning (and random) rallies you’ll ever see, scoring 10 runs in the final two innings to win 11-10. This is true.

While you were all changing the channel, the Giants were setting the world on fire. And I can’t prove it but it all started after I assume that this play, and therefore this kind of effort, by the 77-year-old ball boy from San Francisco set the tone for events to come.
Take a look:
Giants came together for a magnificent win
There’s some incredible stuff here from “Lefty.” Look at this effort. See the form. After this, I was going to score 10 runs. God knows I’ll at least try.
If 77-year-old Lefty is putting his body on the line in a 9-1 game, who are we to give up? He’s outside baking in the sun, miserable and angry like the rest of us. But he dives for foul balls in the eighth inning of a terrific game.

And the Giants did it! San Fran put on a dazzling performance, scoring five goals in the eighth round and five more in the ninth.
And by “stunning” I mean Bryce Eldridge hitting the GRAND SLAM from distance in the ninth round:
Enjoy your meal. What a game. How can you not be romantic about baseball? You can have your NBA Finals however you want. I’M FINE in MLB action at noon on a Wednesday in June.

Give me this 100 times out of 100! And get me Lefty to put his 77-year-old ass on the line to stop a foul ball.
What a sport.
Note: No disrespect to Lefty, but while this was a great play, THIS will always be the best play by a ball boy in Giants history:
